Koozies for kids- is it a good idea, or not?
Well, of course you won’t want your ten year old drinking a Bud while watching his morning cartoons on Disney. Or your eight year old princess waving a bottle of suds at you as your drive past your living room window. Those situations are just way too odd for comfort. But then again, a koozie is a nice way to tell your kids; hey, it’s a hard life but you can cope through the little things in life.
If they like the koozies, they can grow up to be koozie lovers; collecting koozies and marking their triumphs and ups and downs with those little companions that keep coffee warm, or orange juice cool.

How to design a party koozie
First, decide on a theme. Would the party be predominantly funny? Scary? Sexy? Once you’ve established these thematic coordinates, it’s time to get your pen and paper out. Make a rough sketch first. Make use of clean lines and rounded figures- except for the letters.
The letters themselves can be suggestive of the theme of the koozie. Letters that are straight and sharp suggest something more serious. Letters that have rounded ends suggest something light hearted or even funny. Make the letter stand out well- because usually, if the graphics fail to impress, the letters step in to do the trick.
If you’re having a party with a group of friends, why not make use of old photos- (prepare to be throttled though!)

How to make wedding koozies stand out
It’s actually quite difficult to design wedding koozies. First, you have to choose whether a more traditional approach would do (white flowers, birds, a lone cross), or a more modern style would be more appropriate. The best way to deal with this problem is by talking it over with your partner. But generally, koozies that are given away at wedding receptions aren’t the serious.
For instance, people often print jokes or humorous sayings on the surface of the koozie. Designs that appear too traditional may come across as… well, too solemn. Weddings today focus more on the dynamic aspect of marriage. The ceremonies may be very solemn, but the koozies need not be, completely.

Irony, humor and the things you can write on a koozie
A unique thing about those who are in the koozie industry is that they never cease to make designs more likeable and more memorable. Since the competition is as tough as it gets, designers and “koozie artists” go to great lengths to make their designs rise a few notches above the rest.
Take for example a design on a wedding koozie: “____ & _____ Got Married, And All I Got Was This Damn Koozie” Notice that the message is so utterly plain that it’s hilariously funny. Anyone who would deign to notice would also laugh- because it’s ironic and at the same time it’s funny.

Making use of kooky koozies
There’s no shortage of serious people in the world. With the economic recession in tow and everything’s falling down, it’s no wonder that people have become glummer these past few months. But, we make do with what we can, and koozies can actually cheer a place up quite well. If you’re thinking of a way to cheer your family up, or your friends, then get kooky koozies.
Kooky koozies is a general category for anything and everything that is unusual- unusually entertaining and unusually funny. You can easily make use of cartoon character, strange sayings, or comical creations of your own. The keyword here is uniqueness. Another buzzword is creativity. Think you can make your koozies as kooky as possible?

Mineral water bottles deserve koozies too!
We know, we know. Most koozies are used for “harder” substances like soda, wine and beer. But there’s a “return to H20” recently, and people like their water sparkling and cold. Of course, you can make your water-drinking experience more interesting. You see, there are many kinds of bottled water on the market today.
Some of them purport to have come from the melted ice in the Andes- one of the cleanest sources of water in the world. Of course, these bottled waters are expensive, and you’d want to drink these in style. That’s the spirit of getting a mineral water bottle koozie- taking care of pure water the same way you’d be taking care of a good glass of beer.

Cartoon character koozies
What’s the best way to bring out the adventurous kid in you? Go bungee-jumping! No, we’re just kidding. You can invite danger and adventure from the comfort of your office desk with koozies that have action figures emblazoned on the front side.
Not only is this approach to koozies interesting, it’s eye-catching. You can channel your personality directly through your favorite koozies. Koozies can be your personal statement- the same way that people sometimes dress up their poodles while shopping. Well, not exactly like that, but you get what we mean.

Creating your own koozie design
Remember that the area of the printable front surface of a normal can koozie is limited. Most koozies will only be able to give you around three inches of space, give or take a few centimeters. With this in mind, you can already think of ways to maximize this space.
If you’re giving the koozies to a friend in his birthday, try to think of something witty. For example, “To My Turtle-Y Friend; 400 years and still Strong”. You can experiment with strong words and move them around the permitted space. Eventually, the fun will rub off on the design itself. Prepare to be appreciated by everyone who had had the chance to get the uniquely designed koozies.

Bottle koozies and can koozies
To a certain extent, koozies became popular even especially in commercial establishments (like bars and restaurants) precisely because the buyers can print something on the front side or the back side of the koozies. It’s instant advertising, and everyone loved the fact that the koozies were easy to clean and were relatively cheap.
Keeping the customers happy has never been this easy. Do you run a restaurant? If you do, and you haven’t try giving your customers koozies when they order their wine or beer, why not try koozies? Online retailers offer their koozies for a minimum order of a dozen koozies. If you find a “dollar koozie” that’s just $12.

Koozies and basic colors
If you’re a first time buyer of koozies, the first thing you have to know is that there are generally two types of koozies. The first type uses solid colors; for example, you have lime green, golden yellow, bright blue, light orange, etc. These solid-color koozies are often the least expensive. Can koozies are often made this way, and you can probably have an hour’s worth of fun just by looking at how many color combinations you can have.
The second type of koozie are those with prints. There are pre-manufactured designs, and of course, you can make your own design as well, depending on the event. Either way, the retailers will make sure that the designs would come out wonderfully when printed on the koozies themselves. Do you have any design ideas? Share them with us!
